this is a pencil drawing, and it took quite a while but i like it. i didn't colour it in, or paint it because it looks better shaded in with my pencil. i tried to fill every corner with bits and bobs, without them looking too random, and i think that worked out quite well. the picture just started with the robin on the branch and it just grew from that, i was adding more and more things.Thursday, December 31, 2009

Beautiful, with lots of things to capture the imagination! I love art that makes me wonder about the stories behind the image.
And I think you were right to keep it simply shaded with pencil. I'm looking forward to seeing more art here, Beth! Especially as you motivate me to draw more, too. I'm off to work on my stippling, whoohoo!
